{"id":3780,"date":"2021-05-26T11:13:14","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T15:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kojiflower.eeeagency.com\/?p=3780"},"modified":"2021-05-26T11:52:08","modified_gmt":"2021-05-26T15:52:08","slug":"be-10-bodaimoto-online-injured-a-finger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kojiflower.com\/home\/2021\/05\/be-10-bodaimoto-online-injured-a-finger\/","title":{"rendered":"BE-10 Bodaimoto Online &#8211; injured a finger!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ops, I should post this to the &#8216;page&#8217; not here as &#8216;blog&#8217;!<br>It already sent to the people who subscribe my post, so I won&#8217;t delete this post.<br>Please enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>++++<br><br>(If you have an injury on your hand) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good morning everyone! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today I\u2019d like to talk about what to do if you have an injury on your hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was a question I asked a few years ago when I first started taking my koji-mastor Nakaji\u2019s koji school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf I cut my finger, is it okay to put that hand into koji or koji products? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I just say \u2018cut the finger\u2019, there are some level of it, <br>don\u2019t you think? <br><br>Is it still bleeding? <br>If it already stopped bleeding, <br>but the scar is too deep and slightly clear liquid remind?<br> Or maybe a scab has formed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Nakaji-san\u2019s answer was <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As long as it\u2019s not bleeding, you\u2019re fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that as long as you wash your hands properly without putting a band-aid on, you can continue working &#8211; but make sure it\u2019s not bleeding! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was a bit of an eye-opener for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Of course, &#8220;washing your hands properly is the most important thing.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in my opinion, if I can see a little bit of clear liquid, I don\u2019t want to work on it. <br>But if it\u2019s a scab, it\u2019s probably fine. <br>I\u2019ll wash my hands really really well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> I think it\u2019s a good tip to keep in mind for your &#8220;home fermentation&#8221; life. <br><br>Still keep in mind that\u2026. This totally doesn\u2019t make sense for people who handle food with a very strict hygiene control, like restaurant and food industry. In that case, you should use rubber gloves or follow the rules according to the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> If you work at the manufacture that deals with koji products for business, you probably don\u2019t want people who have an injury on their finger. I\u2019m sure there are other people who can do it for people who has injured their hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here, I\u2019m talking about a living person  &#8211; not a manufacture &#8211; who handles live bacteria at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Food safety is the number one priority for sure, but we should have a proper knowledge of how living people deal with living bacterias in this living world.
