– Learning Koji and Beyond –
The Koji Advisor Training Program is designed for those who:
- Want to learn about koji in a comprehensive program
- Aspire to start a koji-related business in the future
- Wish to preserve and pass down koji culture and Japanese traditions
- Want to explore health, body, and mind through koji
- Are interested in an Oriental medicine approach
- Want to learn how to use koji for themselves and their families
- Prefer to study at their own pace online
This program provides the ideal learning experience for those who want the flexibility to study at their own pace online.

All classes take place on an Online School platform and a Facebook group page, where we communicate via chat.
Each month, we focus on a different theme and learn about various koji-based condiments. The basic materials, including tutorial videos and documents, are already available in the Online Platform, allowing you to learn at your own pace.(in 2025, since we moved to new platform recently, I wiill add new information month to month)
Additionally, there will be a Monthly Zoom meeting each month, where we can interact directly, and I can answer questions based on everyone’s interests and requests. I have found that this interactive format is much more effective than simply listening to a basic lecture. All Zoom meetings will be recorded so you can watch them later at your convenience. Of course, you can also reach out to me anytime through chat.`
For those with a busy schedule, this program is still a great fit! You can study at your own pace, and I will provide reminders to help you stay on track and keep up with everything.
Here is the detail of Koji Advisor Training Course in 2025
Yearly Member(1st year/2nd year)
Registered yearly(Incluing all 3 semesters):CA$1000/year
-All payments made by credit card will be required +3% handling fee.
-If your residence is in Canada, we recommend Etransfer, which has no fees!
-You also can take course by semester, collect credit by completing each semester, and you can apply to be koji advisor at the end.

Semester 2 – Making koji using Soybeans, barley, and shoyu. Open the miso, mirin, shoyu that we prepared earlier in this year(If you take only this semester:CA$590)

Once you register for the program, this is how it will work:
-Join facebook
-Join group chat to connect with everyone
-Join each group pages in the semester
-Study yourself follow by “Guide”(you will see in the group page)
-Create event page and start reporting your work/homework
-Attend 1/month Zoom lecture
-before Zoom lecture or after the lecture(up to you), start preparing the koji products by yourself(keep
-keep the report in the event page, I will respond your work(This will be important your note for your future)
-you will be supported in a chat group and ask question anytime
